Gonna grill ya here: Um good ol' days? Buddy you just joined in February. Of 2013....

Anyways I remember 2009. The year I joined. I was checking out MGS4 stuff, along with single player hacks for CoD4, and checkin up on MW2 news.

I miss the personality of the site. The recent effort to become more professional has caused the site to lose some of it's community feel and site personality. Some good content features have been added but several community involvement features have been removed. Such as SOTW,TOTW,and vbookie. There seems to be fewer things that require or spur community involvement now.
There is much less to manage but twice the number of staff?

I'm not trying to sound negative about the direction the site is taking towards appearing more professional, but as I think back over the last nearly 5 yrs, what I miss most is the site's personalities and the site's personality :love:

The personality is what I loved most when I joined. I had been apart of several different forums, generally they revolved around gaming. When I joined this one, I quickly noticed it to be more of a coummunity, people weren't trying to prove themselves better like many other forums. It's part of the reason why I stayed.

I left the site back in august for about 3 months because that feeling had vanished, I wasn't happy with the way it was going. Now, it seems it is doing it somewhat again. :/

Made an account in 2010 back when I was modding my PS3. Lost that shit. Didn't feel like finding it. Got banned on 7s, came here, unbanned, still here. Humor still there.
