In case you didn't know, there is a report button, and it goes right to the mods, and they will move the thread. It is in the lower left hand corner, next to the rep button. Just click it, and say wrong section, and possibly say which section to move it to, to help the mods out.

5* thread and there is a button thats really close to the report button; i tend to use that in cases such as this one.

You're trying to be helpful however this thread won't do much use. Sort of the same with sticky threads nobody reads them.
It would be great if people reported more but what can you do.

If something in the wrong section link to the right section saves mods some time or say which section.

Yes reporting a thread or post makes it easier for us to clean up the forums of spam everything in between.
