But when I moved, I heard people calling in Soccer(in the US) and I am wondering why this is? Every country in the world calls it football expect from the US. This just seems stupid. I think "America Football" should be renamed. Not to like "egghand" but something proper because having two sports called football just seems confusing.

Well I understand your moral/meaning in some views and ways, but in order to start off a traditional American Football game you'd have to KICK the ball. Now the ball is always kicked at least 2 times a game, it get kicked for the opening of the game and when someone scores (90 % of the time) - But hey, maybe they thought egghand was a stupid name lol.
