I hate the term COD killer mainly as to kill COD you need a game which has a even lower skill ceiling.
Pointless trying as we already have a COD. Just build your own game simple in your vision.

Loved what RTS said. He pretty much explained it, but I don't see why people compare games that clearly have many differences, then turn around in defense claim that people just suck at playing that particular game. Plus you can't kill Call of Duty, it has way too many fans and by that I mean people who play nothing but Call of Duty 24/7.

yep true i just wanted to see what people say because I'm hearing cod killer this cod killer that but cod wont die until they run out of ideas for making it which if they have a brain they will never run out of ideas haha, btw anyone disappointed with black ops 2? it wasnt as fun as i had planned of it to be :/

I wish COD would die, though to be fair I also wish all the games trying to imitate cod would die.

No one needs to create a so called "COD Killer" Activision, Treyarch and whats left of Infinty Ward are doing that just fine on their own. People say that there are still millions playing the game but are there really? last time i logged on to XBL there were just over 81,000 people online not very impressive for a game based on its online multiplayer, I see literally hundreads of threads on various forums about COD and how people are sick of it and want a better online experience and have quit playing the game and/or wont be buying the next release.

Oversaturation, lack of innovation, and poor game design will lead COD down the same path as Guitar hero and if there is a game to benifit from this demise my money is on Respawn's new game, they devloped the COD formula that is still being used today problem is since they were pushed out the door by Activision there has been anyone who knows how to improve on it

We already have a "CoD killer" which is Battlefield.

They're completely different games.
