I got mine done at a swap meet. It's not really bad at all. Just hope they pierce them straight or you're going to have a hell of a time putting earrings on, good luck!

Hopefully they do a good job. When I was 13 Ipeirced my own ear but I'm too old and scared to be doing that now haha.

I got it done at Claires in Ireland when I was like 12. They had a new type gun and cleaned the earlobe before using an earring straight out of a sterilised packet. Gave me stuff to clean my ear with daily too. I've let it close up since but its a good place to get it done.

I used to have my ears pierced, however I didn't go to Claires or any chain store. I went to a tattoo parlor mainly because they use piercing needles which come individually packed and are sterile, and the little ear clamp thing they use is sterilized in an autoclave. Personally I'd go find a local tattoo shop and ask around, see how trained they are and if they have any sterilizing equipment.

For anyone who is curious about why I don't wear earring, it's because it was a fad and still is imo. Plus I prefer buying timepieces nowadays.
