Nah, I'm kidding though. I always knew that a good portion of gamers were girls. Its just that, immature guys, ages 13-16, just SPAM them with messages and friend requests for some reason like they've never talked to a girl. I just don't understand why, its just a girl. There's several million of them on this damn planet, lol.

So when I meet a girl online, I just talk to them just like everyone else I talk to. That's just me though, I don't know about you guys. I find them more interesting to talk to as well. Just like older guys, no homo. They're just cooler to talk to. Keep in mind, im 19.

I fall into that age group, andI don't do the stuff that you mentioned. In fact I'm very mature. I sometimes hate the fact that all gamers year olds are described as rude, stupid and immature just because of some of the stupid ones that do fit the description earlier in the sentence.

Gaming is becoming mainstream, also that 12 year you think most likely was a 40 year old that beat you.
What more amazing is how the market is worth more compared to movies/music, still got some way to go yet.

Gaming was pretty mainstream before, but just not for the older/ female groups of society. But I think a change to this, and the fact that now so many more people are happy to say they enjoy playing games what ever gender or age is great!

Plus when I say to guy friends that I play games mostly the reaction is mild surprise (but certainly in a good way) followed by me suddenly getting an increase in coolness factor :p.
