well, most people don't have any say in this. most people haven't played both and can't say anything that would have any impact on it. but, i've played both and i have to say ps3 is better. I played xbox for 3 months while my ps3 was busted and i've never seen more noobs in my life. they are all sniper wannabees and most of them aren't very good. i like competition, not something really easy. plus, ps3 is free online. that may cause a slight connection difference, but its nothing that a click on leave game can't fix.

My honest opinion:

PS3 - great console but has it's flaws.
- Crashes alot
- Some games get FPS lag
- Boring XMB
- No status changes (listening to music)
- Can't be signed in when watching DVD
- My console don't play PS2 games
- People get YLOD lot's now
- Accessory support, limited products
- Home is boring, they promised so much, but have done so little
- The worse browser, ever. With the amount of power the PS3 has, the browser is SHIT
- Horrible start up sound
- Downloadable content sucks
- No movies to download
- No good full games
- Everything was a lie, they promised so much

XBOX 360 - aimed @ gamers, rather than an ornament
- RROD
- Loud when loading the disc
- Crashes sometimes
- Games suck

But I have had both and have to say for controller and playability XBOX360 is a winner, the PS3 seems to erm... focused on look rather than playability. The XB360 is a huge lump and looks ugly, but PS3 sexy.

Halo3 is the good thing about the XBOX and that was the only reason I bought it. PS3 = win.

well that wasn't fair at all, haha. atleast give an equal amount of reasons for each. you just destroyed the ps3 and just slapped the xbox's hand.
