Post: Negro.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Can the term honestly be considered of any insult anymore? The majority of people who even pertain to it are "negros" themselves. The way I see it 99.9% of the community in the US aren't publicly racist. Obviously we all have our thoughts about other races but nobody takes it out in the public. You can't completely end racism but I just ****in hate it when black people make rallies and parades and shit in an attempt to get rid of the word when they should be at home using that time to teach their damn ****in kids not to use it if they hate the word so ****in much instead. If you were to describe someone as Caucasian or white you wouldn't hesitate but when you're describing a "negro" why should you hesitate to say the man is black? Negro in spanish means black anyways if I called someone "blanco" which means white in spanish they wouldn't give a **** would they?

So... can the term still be considered offensive? Or are you a ****in racist to say it?

Daddy's home.
Well, I'm not racist but I do hate it how we cannot say anything about a black person without getting ****ed over by the law, or them. What I don't get is that black people call white people "white trash" and such words. They get the 'blackboards' changed to 'whiteboards' because it is somehow racist? Yet, white people don't say, "why are they white? That's racist. Change them to pink" or whatever, they just leave them be. I walk down the street which is full of people Asians (Pakistanis) and I here them say "what's up nigga?" Yet if a white person went over to a black person and said "what's up nigga?" They would get the shit kicked out of them, yet they themselves are not actually a nigga as such. They say to white people a load of names that none of them give a shit about. Also why is it that white people cannot wear the crucifix cross in middle Eastern countries yet they can turbans and there other clothes in ours without a fuss?
I know some 'black' people and they themselves take the piss out of how the littlest thing sparks a huge nationwide argument and uproar.
As to the person who mentions Chris Rock, I have seen him take the piss out of the slave trade before so it's not white people he 'picks' on. Nobody says a thing about him saying that, however. If that was a white guy like Lee Evans or Ricky Gervaise, they would most likely be facing legal action or out of a job by now.
I'm not just going to dig at the black people though because white people do cause much of the action. I have seen people in my local town being plainly racist and trying to start fights with them. That is when racism is too far. Why do people want to fight because of the difference in cultures? Everyone is the same but the skin of the colour. There is most likely a black person who is the same as me, only difference is that he is black. Why should it matter?
If people complain about racism so much then why do people still bring it up all the time? Whites and blacks will not get along unless people stop saying the most little and stupidest thing is racist. Like when Prince Charles called his close Asian friend a "paki" (to his face), the whole Asian community in England moan about it? If the person he called it didn't mind why should they? That is why I believe racism will be around for a long time to come.
Also their only fall back to many things is, "is it cos im black?" It Shouldn't matter whether you are black or white, you should still be arrested or whatever.
If people stop bringing it up, maybe, just maybe, racism may not be a problem. Until then, everyone will have to live with it.

I say shit like that all the time. I even asked loudly in one of my classes "why don't we have a white history month?" The teacher acted like she didn't hear me.

They feel that because our ancestors enslaved their ancestors that we owe them something. That really is not the case since none of living today had any control over what was happening back than.

I'm in no way supporting slavery but if there hadn't been any slavery the US would be very different from what it is now.

I've been asking that for a long time now, and I've noticed no teacher ever has a response to it.
