(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Today in Oklahoma, May 20th 2013 is a historic date. Why? A tornado struck Moore,Oklahoma and destroyed a elementary school killing multiple students and teachers. The tornado was counted as a EF-4 EF-5. Today has been a sad day for many victims. This is the same event that struck Moore,Oklahoma on May 3rd 1999. I give my prayers to all the families that were affected. I have family members that have lost homes on this day. What happened today is much much worse than what happened on May 3rd 1999. The death count is 51 including residents and students/teachers. Those students could have saved if they have released those kids home. I have included a video to keep you updated.

Please sign this petition to release kids from school during tornadoes and severe weather dectection!

I live in Moore, Oklahoma. My house was missed just by 5 houses. My mothers house was completely leveled. All signal here is shotty and we wont have electrisity for days.

For anyone who had a order in, in my graphics shop. Please be pacient as i have no idea when we'll get our power back. If i even atempt to leave my house to do anything, its a fear that they might kick us out again.

I have plenty of photos to share, including my old house. Once everything is back up and running Ill share!

Oh and will someone contact Lady/Jake and tell them about this post? My phone will only let me do so much.

No, the school basically said "No we are holding children until the district gives the all clear

Thats basically kidnapping which is illegal. They can't hold your child from you, the parents had a right to go into the classroom their kid was in and take the kid out if they really wanted to.

Why do all the Natural Disasters occur in America. Iv'e never witnessed a tornado or anything here in Australia - though earthquakes are extremely rare - the only disaster which would be the worst would have to be the floods. I feel that Australia is one of the best countries to live in. Best wishes to all who were affected! :(

Definitely the tragic event needs to be remembered. A warning 16 minutes early is not fast enough. It's a pity that Oklahoma the state is prone to getting blown out. It must be tragic in Tornado season knowing that this happens every year and will continue to happen a bit like in the NBA season.
