(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My neighborhood was hit by the F5 Tornado that went threw Moore, Oklahoma yesterday 5/20/2013. Luckily, only a few of the houses in the neighborhood got hit hard, houses behind our neighborhood were leveled completely. Just like my mothers house that was located at 19th st and Sante Fe. She made it safely underground but lost everything. For reference on where exactly she was located, her house is about a 8th of a mile west of the Plaza heights elementary school that the 7 kids where killed in and even closer to the Elementary school Briorwood that is just west of her house in her neighborhood.

The past day has been extremely hectic, I had to park two miles from my own house to get home. Then as I decided to go back and get my car they made me walk about 6 miles AROUND to get it. After driving about 5 miles to my mothers house(which took about an hour) they again made me walk about another 2 miles there. Her house was gone, nothing looks even remotely the same.

I walked threw my neighborhood today to take some pictures, just to show our point of view. I also have some pictures on my phone, I will post them when I can get them to my computer.

That yellow GT was just parked there and abandoned? I would've risked my life to save that car. A lot of memories get lost in these disasters. You gotta be thankful that nothing happened to your mom though :y:

My dad would probably flip balls if his Shelby GT500 was destroyed in a tornado...

And your lucky your house wasn't affected my house was destroyed in the Winter Garden tornado in 1998 when I was like 4 years old. Luckily everyone survived.
