It's actually - finally - my last year, and I'm doing my bachelor project now! Hopefully I'll be done by the end of July! Smile

I'm majoring in Digital Media Engineering and Technology, which is pretty much the media side of most CS majors, it's pretty awesome. All you need to know in order to get through it alive is, attend your lectures (I can't stress this enough, even if there's no attendance in lectures, I'm not sure what it's like in the US, but in Egypt, or in the university I go to, attendance is taken during tutorials only and affect whether you pass the course or not), finish your projects, study as much as you can, and find time in between all these things to socialize.

Most importantly, don't be scared, the next few years will definitely be awesome!

Cheers.

Majoring in Marketing and Trading business and might switch to humanities. College is difficult if you put yourself into difficult situations. If you organize everything with maturity then you'll fly by with easy grades with a lot of spare time to do some College life Winky Winky.

Went to Georgetown, graduated Summa Cum Laude in Economics. Went to college to learn and not have fun or party and got exactly what I wanted out of it. All I did was eat, study, go to class, do homework, eat some more, study some more, lift weights, and then sleep again. Got into Georgetown Law School, graduated in top 10 (students) in my class of ~700. Had over 10 job offers upon graduation. Doing fairly well now. :mmm:

Advice:
-get into the best school you possibly can and one you will enjoy
-make new friends the day you get there, if you wait, social circles will already have developed and you will be left out
-you pay them $50,000 a year so don't waste time partying and go get your education
-don't pick a stupid major that won't get you a job, idgaf how much you like history
-get to know professors, you must get a good personal relationship with at least a couple
-in every class, sit next to the hottest fucking girl there

I'm a Junior now, Environmental Science major. My advice would be is that although school prior to college may be easy, that is not the case now. I seriously recommend you attend lectures, pay attention, and study, especially don't study last minute. It's your job to stay par for the course because legitimately no one gives a shit if you don't, so it's completely up to you to keep up with the course. Also try to be social and don't worry about not making friends, all freshman are in the same position as you, and making friends will be pretty easy, especially if you're living there.
