Lets discover whether your computer is male or is it female. This is just a simple forumgame but it's implemented on your computer.
To get the right answer you must follow these steps one by one:
* Open a notepad
* Write the following line to the notepad file you just opened:

* Save the file as "computer_gender.vbs"
* Double-click on the file created.
For Mac :
You can make your Mac talk to you in various different ways with it’s built-in Text-to-Speech abilities, we’ll cover the two quickest and easiest ways using the simple text editor TextEdit and the command line via Terminal.
Make your Mac talk with TextEdit
* Set the cursor to where you’d like the text to be spoken (default will be the beginning of the document or text)
* From the Edit menu, pull down to ‘Speech’
* Select ‘Start Speaking’

Make your Mac talk with the Terminal
* Launch the Terminal
* Type
say hello
and ‘hello’ will be read in the default voice that your Mac is set to (Alex is the default)
* Adjust voices by using the -v voicename flag, eg;
say -v agnes this sure is a fancy voice!
* You can follow the ‘say’ command with just about anything
For Linux:
You can play with your linux machine. It can talk for you what you want. May be you know the Linux utility espeak. It can be used to listen the voice as we want. if you type espeak "hi buddy " , in the terminal your computer will speak it.
Another funny thing you can do it with it...! if you append the following code to the espeak "Thanks for login" to .bash_login inside your home directory( /home/your_name/.bash_logout). Then whenever you login via terminal(not GUI), it will speak like that.
Also you can add espeak "Open terminal" or any message you want it to /home/your_name/.bashrc file. Next see the result while opening new terminal.
However there various place that you can add it and make your Linux machine talk..
For now you should hear the voice coming from computer's speakers/your headphones. Now you should know which gender your computer is.
