I am indeed an idiot, for stating that an individual's grammar solely determines whether or not they paid attention during their entire education... because that is what I wrote.. no?

I think you'll find that this conversation is finger pointing at people who literally don't know the difference, not people with lazy grammar.

To say the least though, at least the English language doesn't have a lot of homophones. I've learn almost 200 Kanji now (believe you need at least 2000 before you can begin reading) and god damn it, the amount of them that have the same onYomi pronunciation is fucking annoying. Off the top of my head: 少 小 晶 唱 召 訟 照 昭 章 省 are all pronounced ショウ. I mean that's 10 in 200, 5% of them sound the same... Hopefully one day though this will all pay off and I'll be able to read some untranslated manga and VN's that nobody else wants to translate.

"People need to get a grip and understand that school is important for your life.. pay attention."

If what I paraphrased isn't at all what you meant, what exactly did you mean by this comment then?

Man, I'm glad I read that and watched "you're" video that you posted as well as read "you're" thread.:troll: I defiantly didn't know the differences between those two already, so thanks so much for sharing "you're" thread. :troll:

It's easy to comprehend, people are just lazy, or stupid.
