After 8 years of bush, do you really think that McCain had a chance? Plus Obama's main campaign was "change." He would have won regardless.

You've got to look at who we had to choose from. First there was Heinz ketchup Kerry, second there was old ass McCain and Alaskan milf Polin and last but not least BlackBama. Obama was going to get it and it was a no brainier. Obama being black was icing on the cake. Him being black was a home run for his campaign of change. As for the Bush era...I think everybody was ready to put that behind us. Damn it, were still in Iraq to this day.
