Where do I start!?
The community used to be very helpful.. Now everyone just wants to scam you, make money and ignore your existence.
I must have spoke to about 80+ people and still no reply.
Am I wasting my time coming on here now?

Depending on how you construct a thread or private message depends if people are going to read it or not.
Sadly as a site gets bigger it harder to to noticed so people don't ignore you. And scamming has always been like that hard to say it but it true. People are still helpful on this site don't give up hope.

if i ever need help its always givin, it may only take a few minutes to be answered or it could take a week.
i try to help others if i am able to help with the problem, ill read it and if i dont have a possible solution i try not to clog up the thread with BS. i have been sent multipal PM's by several different people, some i was able to help and others i could only point in another direction.
alot of times the question you ask may be in a section people dont visit. i for one stay away from all COD titles, nothing of intrest for me there. same with minecraft.
i did look you up and i see you only have 1 started thread, and its this one. if you asked a question or needed help with something the best thing to do is start a new thread in its proper section, give it a proper name, and explain in detail what the problem is so people will be able to first actually see it, and 2nd be able to respond to your problem.
i hope this helped in some way.
oh and i wanted to add, it doesnt matter if you have 5 posts or 3k. help is always givin... sometimes with a sarcastic tone if it was someone being lazy and not using the search tool. but none the less... still givin

Wrong section for this sort of thread.
Regardless, this was always inevitable. This site is geared towards pubescent teenagers who like to cheat on Call of Duty. How could that ever go any better than this?

Sadly I have to agree with you. After all, this is a gaming forum and like you said, you were asking for Mw3 hacking help... yet, due to your post count and what not, people tend to ignore you. In a way, I can see NGU's argument being leeching but to an extent, they should be more helpful to newer members. This is the only forum that I've been on where I see this.
I joined a car forum, and my first post/thread was about an issue I had with my car. Regardless of my join date or post count, there were a number of people who quickly responded and helped me solve my issues. NGU is missing that welcoming feeling towards its newer members. But like Clutch said above, most on here aren't that old and are more concerned with trolling posts and getting rep.

NGU is one of the most helpful sites i know! it also depends where you look and who you ask..
