I believe in free trade, which is republican side. But we need government to step in everyonce and a while, to tax the rich ****s that make capitalism frowned upon.
But I also believe in abortion, science, Atheism, and democracy in general.
The republicans are very corrupt through donations from companies and wealthy individuals. Read "Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army" It shows a lot of corruption by Republicans back in the Bush years, backed by evidence. The whole book is plain research put together into a book.
So I guess I am in the independent party.

ok heres my 2 cents:
90% of people in NGU are white males under 18.
white males typically are Republicans.
People under 18 usually don't know much of politics except what they learn in school. If you're already learning about the government you will learn about all other political parties that sound great but you don't know much of.
So most votes are going to be other or republican. democrats are going to be last in this poll.
Also people that aren't American don't care much about this so they will vote other.
I'm Hispanic. Somewhat educated and over 18 so I voted Democrat

Most of the people in my school are anti-Bush and therefore Democrat. They were HUGE on the whole Obama thing.
Democrats like putting tariffs/taxes on things, and like regulating the economy that only messes with consumer/producer surplus and creates dead-weight loss. Let the market run free.
Republicans are almost ALWAYS Christian. Hence them hating abortion, "anti-religious bigotry," etc. What the **** happened to separation of church and state?
Saying all white males are Republicans is stereotyping. Its like saying all Hispanic people hopped the border and are illegals. I would say rich people are generally Republican, because they get taxed less. Democrats are generally poor/middle class people because democrats bring false hope and tax the rich a lot more.

So what you're saying is rich people are Republicans. This is true. 90% of rich people in the US are white. Also somewhat true. Therefore all whites are Republican
