I have read around a bit and seen different opinions and still am not sure I want one.
I am pretty good with pain I suppose, also the tattoo I am wanting isn't going to be that big
I plan on getting it placed on my bicept.
It doesn't really "hurt", just a slight stinging but you get numb to it after a couple minutes. The painful part is if the tattoo is over a bone, bicep shouldn't be a problem.

My friend got a tattoo on his upper right side of his back, he described the "pain" as a stinging sensation, but over all he could endour the pain. I wanna get the pac-man ghosts on my fingers and pac man on my thumb and it will look like pac man is trying to eat the ghosts. lol.

Depends on where you get the tattoo and your pain threshold. Usually getting a tattoo on an area of the body that has less muscle/fat will hurt substantially more.

Ive got a tattoo on my arm it wasnt really that sore just depends on how big it is and were it is
It does hurt especially depending on the placement of the tattoo on the body, but that's part of the experience in my opinion.
When you're in the chair getting inked, you try to put on a brave face like this don't hurt at all (but it does) you just keep your mind else where.
I know people have told me in the past that they have a good "pain tolerance" the point it's still painful whether they admit it or not.
I have 4 tattoos and all of them were worth going through with...
