There is a lot of conspiracy around this topic and I am very interested in it so I would like to see what other people on NGU think of it.
There are many different standpoints on who killed the President and I want to know what you guys think and why.
Whose theory do you most believe?
- Lee Harvey Oswald (Lone Gun Man Theory/Warren Commission)
- The Mafia (Because of RFKs strong stance against organised crimes)
- The CIA (Because JFK wanted to "splinter them into a 1000 pieces" after they embarrassed him at the Bay of Pigs)
- Cuba/Russia (Castro/Khrushchev trying to take out the leader of the free world to try and promote more communism)
- The American Government (Kennedy trying to end the Vietnam War as well as many things that Washington didn't like)
- The ex-Cuban Militia (For sending them over to the Bay of Pigs with little intel and getting lots of them killed)
- The Trial of Clay Shaw (The only ever trial to this date about the Kennedy Assassination by Jim Garrison saying Clay Shaw among with other people conspired to kill Kennedy and using Oswald as a patsy (If you don't know about this one you can watch the JFK Movie from 1991, based around this topic))
Also, Do you think the American government will ever release the information about the Assassination and the stuff they hid from the public or they will keep putting it off.
After watching the movie I have a difficult time believing anything other then the Clay Shaw theory, it may have been a different one however. I do feel like it was 100% conspiracy.
I think a simple "I don't know" is sufficient here. I don't believe the official story because the CIA have done some abominable stuff, but most conspiracy theories are disprovable nonsense.
The following user thanked Clutch Hunterr for this useful post:
There isn't much I know about this to be honest, however I know of some of the theories. To me, the CIA are behind for the same reason the user above said. I'd love to learn more about this though, I shall have to look more into this soon.
It's really a touch and go subject. Without being there, I couldn't make a rational observation.
However, it seems awfully inconvenient the events panned out in the way the death of Princess Di did. Both were hugely public icons let down only by those destined to protect them. Both cases had troubles of recovering evidence, both cases were quickly shunned by the secret service of their respected countries.
It seems all too well we could point a finger at Lee Harvey, but the CIA shouldn't be overlooked.
I don't know who did kill Kennedy, but I do believe that Oswald didn't do it, in fact if you look at some of the evidence its virtually impossible that Oswald could have fired the gun (a 6.5mm Carcano) 3 times in the few seconds that it took in all the footage that available, bottom line history says Oswald did it and that way it shall remain but we are all entitled to our opinion on it.
