I was informed via radio yesterday, that the NCAA has now created a rule that if,a player illegally hits another player,he will be ejected from the game.
My thoughts on the new rule are,I think it is a great rule to have. The safety of the game would increase by amazing proportions, allowing great players from college to make it in the pros. With the amount of concussions/season ending injuries coming off illegal hits, most players in the NCAA are dropping from a 1st round pick to a 3rd or 4th round pick (which still isn't terrible).
IF a player commits a illegal hit near the end of the game, they will sit out the rest of that game and the next too. Many people will say "What happens if a player is thrown out, that wasn't supposed to be?". This will be treated like any other game changing calls. An example being the touchdown call during the Packers vs Seahawks game a year ago.
Give me your thoughts on this new rule I would love to hear them.
