So I make music and I want to start performing at places but my mom thinks I can't perform at clubs or bars when really they're the only places I can perform at in my town. I was thinking since I'm performing they would let me in but my mom doesn't think so. By the way my moms really bitchy & narrow-minded so it's hard trying to talk to her about stuff like this especially when she thinks she knows everything. But the funny thing about this is, I see bands that are all teenagers performing at clubs and stuff like that (pictures on facebook & other social networks) so why couldn't I do the same? So what do you guys think?

Nope, You'd have to be at least 18 for a strip club and most likely 21 for a bar. Good luck though! Hope it goes well finding a place.

Yet the main problem for you, is your mom, because you can make performances but you need to find people that will help you organise everything :rolleyes:

I think it depends on the deal, I remember Cam Meekins used to do gigs at bars/strip clubs but he'd have the x's on his hands for under 21. The age limit is most likely 18.
