Sir, I'm too 1337
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was having a conversation with a friend, talking about normality....this is what I concluded:

"How can we categorize between two people, one with normal behavior and one with abnormal behavior? To be able to deduce a behavior, you have to have a base to research from. Normality is an illusion. It has to be said its real otherwise we'd all frenzy into a panic and most likely kill ourselves or eachother or both. Society created normality as a balance; a weight to even out chaos. Without "normality" we can't live in this fucked up world. We'd all go insane, but then there would be something else that could happen, something incredible. We'd have less violence, less racism, less war, less hate, because without this fake normal state we all think we're in, we can't categorize and organize people as plainly, we finally come to terms with realizing every single person is unique and every single person is NOT normal. Then why don't we give up normality? Why don't we change?"

Normal isn't real, it can't be real because there was no normal to begin with. Don't act normal, be yourself because maybe normality is being abnormal.

Well, it's true that there is no true normal. That being said, some abnormal behavior is commonly associated with mental or emotional issues.

As for eliminating a normal status quo, I personally believe that people are becoming more understanding over time already.

It sounds like you are confusing what is "normal" and what is "civilized". In the early days of civilization (BC times), people pissed in the streets, murdered each other for almost no reason at all, and well, were really stupid overall. They just weren't civilized, and by our standards, they were not normal at all. "Normal" is more of a term to generalize what the majority of people would do in a situation and consider acceptable.

I don't agree we would be less violent, less racist, have less war or less hate at all. It would be the exact opposite. Just look back in history, people used to kill each other in coliseums for entertainment and slaughtered tens of thousands of people to force their religion on them!

ppl still kill each other for their religion... imo, the muslim extremists and those that wanna have the sharia as laws in their country are at the point where the christians where at the time of the crusades in their thinking and religion.. its gonna take atleast another 200yr before their religion is evolved far enough to stop this..

also i think that the standards for being normal is what the big companies and the media come up with in their commercials and tv programms.. the way we should dress.. what we eat, the car we drive, how we must act.. they are providing us a lifestyle that looks normal in the commercials adn we pay big money for it to be like that..
anything that isnt like that is basicly seen as abnormal..

we have an "acceptable" way to act in public. the truth is that there really is no normal, its just something we humans made up, like time. you're raised to socially acceptable so that you fit in. if you want to be "normal" then go ahead and do what everybody else does, all that you are really doing is wasting your uniqueness that you and only you have.. now onto what you said about being normal is what keeps us sane in this fucked up world. i believe that the "normal" etiquette that is expected from us is a contributing factor to the murder, rape, and suicide. im not saying there should no government just out of the blue, people wouldnt know how to handle it and things would only get worse. when you force a very unique/troubled child to try to change themselves, you are forcing them to bottle up their true personalities, which just builds up more and more until they snap and we have an incident like with the school shootings lately. everyone has someone that understands and can empathize with them, but when you are encouraged to hide your true self, then you cant find that person..

thats just what i think though..

Normal is what you perceive it to be.

Some people think Pigs having sex with cows is normal some don't therefore both opinions are normal.

i agree with normal being created by society to keep balance because how can you determine what is actually normal because it has so many different variations and like you said everyone is unique and i dont think it would create peace people will always find things to kill and argue over :p

Depends on the person usually if your a man you have certain normalities for people who get punished usually for stealings cars and motercycles youll get like a year for first punishment and then 5 years then 5 years agian exept youll probably do 3 with good behavvior and then end up doing the 5 and then at the third strike you probably wont even be punished the same way you may be doing 10 years.
For armed robberies youll get the same thing exept youll be doing 5 and 5 and 5 untill you get the 25 because of how sane it is but youll probably do about not even half maybe less everytime youll probably do less then 10 years in all combined with the 3 sentences more or less . and murder usually is to complicated for minors its like 3 years and for people over the age limit will get like 5 to 25 years
and then burglery to your house almost always is like 5 years 10 years idk its usually highest punishment i think
