Yeah that's through Google. But you can also use Yubikeys or any other device that uses a OTP to login. So that website is still retarded in that consideration.

I have thought about leaving cards behind; but, I really hate dealing with cash... Although I have been seriously considering going 50/50 on my savings. Half in bank; 25% in a safe at home and 25% at another location.

So, well I am still using cards; I just have my account set up to notify me [ via text and two different email address ] of any changes over a $1. I figure as long as they can't login to my account to change the information (or notifications ). I should be able to notice any questionable changes in my account right away and get a hold of my bank.

Going from electronic money/transfers to dealing with cash was worth in my opinion. But at first I hated dealing with cash as well. And I rarely leave any money in the bank, the interest rates are too low to see any gains from it. If I had to estimate I have about 25% of my money in the bank and the rest in a safe and I just get what I plan on spending from my safe.

I'm sure my bank offers online notifications of changes etc, but I've already committed myself to the cash life. I probably would have gone that route if I looked into it some more prior to going to cash. :p

How to secure your password, don't enter your password in on this site. How do we not know that the program is waiting for a longer than average pause and is then storing the password entered into its system and checking for matches while if matches appear, it just ignores adding it to a giant list. Who know if this is to be used against us?

:P

JK. This site is nice, old but nice.

Yeah; I been thinking this way because imagine if the grid went down or something. All that money would essentially be useless; but, at the same time I do need to have some in the bank because I do prefer to do a-lot of my purchases over the web (games and whatnot).
