I have been ofered to diferent internships one is IT and the offer is Fitter and Turner. I was offerd both and didn't want to tur4n them down so i apllied for a dual apprentership (im a shit speller) it got turend down due to the fleixablity of my school timetable.
so basicly i came here looking for opinions i wanna do IT and go to places like america and do things like produce game level design games tester or even go into produceing things like processores ETC.
but i want to be a desiel fitter and work in the mines with the big machanical equipment but the proble is the mines won't always be here.

what would you do becuase im completley clue less.

Technology will continue to advance and will never go away, so that's your best option in turns of reliability for the future.

Flexibility is key.
My experience anything to do with engineering allows you to have a massive amount of flexibility. As for game design I would be carefully going into a a course just for game design. Again flexibility I would go with an ICT course which has a heavy focus on programming build a game in your spare time.
Internship is great for your CV along with experience, depends how far you're along.
