My experience anything to do with engineering allows you to have a massive amount of flexibility. As for game design I would be carefully going into a a course just for game design. Again flexibility I would go with an ICT course which has a heavy focus on programming build a game in your spare time.
Internship is great for your CV along with experience, depends how far you're along.
well in the internship i will be learning multipul different evaluate technoogy procediures (again terible spelling) i will be fixing computers takeing them apart cleaning them propley learing the basics behind things like how to produce prosceecers and graqphics
ill be then doing things like game design,level design,engine design,game testing etc.
