(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); It's that time of year again and I am a freshman going into college. What did you do or are doing to help the transition to becoming a more independent successful person? I'm interested in seeing what others do to help them with the transition.
Personally my transition is a lot easier than others. I am on baseball scholarship to play and I have an older brother who is also there for baseball so I already know a good bit of people coming in and know my way around campus. He also has an apartment so I am able to leave the brutality of the dorms and go over there occasionally to do my work, not to mention he knows a lot of the professors and tells me which ones to take. That's just a general gist of me going into college so let me know about your experiences and tips that helped you!

I don't think you'd want my tips. They only apply to MCRD Parris Island, unless you plan on becoming a Marine. However the one tip I could give you is stay focused on school, don't let them parties get in the way of your education. :p

Time management
Project mangement
Also when you get a bit of coursework or homework complete it even if it's weeks away.
Only other bit of advice is asking for help when you need it.

May sound simple but it's important to remember along with do.
