Today Will Be Different
Well, I don't technically run. Even though I do plan on getting into running here real soon, but I've been doing humps lately, anywhere from 1.5 miles to 3 miles with different amount of weights. For example I'll have anywhere from 30 lbs to 70 lbs in my backpack and I'll go for a walk and at a fast walking pace. And I don't do it in shorts, no shirt, or running shoes. Normal t-shirt, pants, and boots.

I plan on starting running season once winter rolls out.

I'd fully recommend you to start running in winter. I took up running seriously last winter (maybe late fall) and recently I completed my first marathon ever.
Running during winter is fun but you have to wear thermoactive (ain't sure of this word correctnes) first layer or it's not gonna end well.

I get it "I'm more of a run outside type of guy" outside outsider. It all makes sense now!

Cardio is when you're working out at the gym and sometimes ride a bike or run? I don't really know what it's meaning is english. I meant running just for running to get better and better times and run longer distances.

I need to get into the habit of doing it more.
Do run now and again outside, done it in the past during the winter with summer.
Also need to pick up my overall speed but focus is on fitness getting into the habit.
