Post: Computer and electronic engineering, is it a good choice ?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So im into my last year of school and teachers are starting to ask us what we plan on doing in college or if were even going, so i was wondering if any of you guys are studying or have already studied computer and electronic engineering because its something i think i might be interested in. and if you did i was wondering what your views are on the course ? Smile

There are definitely jobs in it, but we can't really comment on the course because it differs with each college.

I've heard it's pretty good, though if you do computer engineering I've heard it's better to just go with Electrical engineering. Though this is just what I've heard there may be no truth in that at all. To be fair as long as you don't go with something wishy washy then it's a pretty good choice. I remember seeing a university course called football studies. lol.

Thats a good choice... I actually preferred Computer Networking over ECT when I was taking it.

I took a beginning Electrical Engineering course and it was really hard to understand, at least for me. I didn't do too well in it. :(

Worth the Weight
It's a great field to get into so long as you are up for the studying. Engineers are fairly demanded so it's not going to be very difficult to find a job. I would definitely go for it.

Makes 60k a year spends 10k of it year for like 10 years to pay it off doesn't even know if will like the job.

I studied in the engineering field it was not electronic.
From my experience anything in engineering is good base. If you get bored can move into other areas without trouble companies love it.
I don't know if that course is good your need to look up the units studied. First year is always general allows you to move into other areas without issue.
