(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey, i'm in a huge turmoil. I can't seem to figure out what to do... Not only i'm in a shitty-ass group, but my teacher will not help us at all. Could anyone please direct me?
ICT OCR CONTROLLED ASSESSMENT

Candidates should be able to complete the task by creating and developing a multimedia solution with appropriate elements such as:
• Sound clips
• Video clips
• Animation
• Graphics
Solutions may include, but are not limited to:
• A multimedia presentation
• A set of multimedia web pages
• A computer game

Task
A theme park has recently spent a lot of money revamping the park and adding new attractions to encourage more teenage visitors. You have been asked by the manager to produce a multimedia website which will show off the park’s facilities and encourage more 13 and 14 year-olds to visit. Your website can be either for desktop computer or a hand held device.

You will need to:
• Work with others to carry out an investigation into multimedia advertising for various attractions. You should analyse these and assess their effectiveness in encouraging 13 and 14 year-olds to visit different attractions, gaining ideas that you can use in your own work.
• Clearly record and display your findings and conclusions.
• From your conclusions, recommend a multimedia solution which will best advertise the theme park to 13-14 year-olds and suggest some of the features it might have.
• Produce a list of success criteria you feel your solution will need to meet your target audience and purpose.
• Produce a plan with recommended timescales for your solution.
• Produce designs for your solution, including screen layouts, navigation paths, navigation methods, user interaction, also designs for the different multimedia components that will be used in it.
• Create a text plan explaining how the solution will be tested against the success criteria.
• Produce a solution:
-Create the individual components you have designed. These might be created from scratch or you might suitable components that you can edit.
-Create the screens for your multimedia product, using the components you have created/edited.
-Add navigation to allow users to choose different routes through your screens.
• Describe how successful you have been in following your plan, including any changes that you have made to the plan as you have developed your solution.
• Test your solution, using a variety of tests and test data.
• Consider the results of your testing and the feedback you have received from other people. Evaluate your solution against your success criteria.
Your evaluation should include:
- Strengths and weaknesses/limitations of your final product.
- Areas that could be improved.
- How any limitations have been, or could be, dealt with.

Grammar, punctuation and spelling are assessed within the evaluation you write.

In Flames Much?
It already tells you what you need to do :p
Guessing this is the first time you done something like this.

You need an intro explaining the project.
You need to build a website from the looks a basic plan for a website, along with why you picked that design. Needs to use a range of media or have media in the plan.
Evidence behind your reasons for that design and build the site.
Once you done that you need to evaluation the overall project.

Looks like a basic case study report, building the site and evaluation about your work.

Yes, it is my first time ineed... I have some basic HTML knowledge, but it's nowhere near good enough to build a website. Should i just use Mincrsoft FrontPage? Also, how advanced is it supposed to be, and what kind of media should i put in it?

I don't think you'd need to actually build a webpage. Just something that looks like one. You could use frontpage if you wanted. Is this BTEC or exam?

Basic HTML would be enough.
Just need to give them the idea of what you're going for along with the design. Use Frontpage if you wish. May not even have to build a page for this. Best to ask if you need to build a very simple version of it or drawings would be enough.

Media wise a video page/pictures you don't even need to produce it just say what on it with why.
'Media page has a video feed from each park rides along with a marketing video showing partents the deals the park offers. Pictures of the rides also included.'
