I got back about 30 minutes ago, and was curious as to what others thought of it, personally I didn't really like most of the stuff there, The Elder Scrolls Online was really boring, Oculus Rift was cool but the picture was shit quality when you actually wear the headset, it needs higher res screens.

The 18+ section was a huge let down, about 4 exhibits and huge queues to play BF4, and I think it was 3 other games or 2 and a LAN tournament... really there wasn't an awful lot of cool stuff there. Apparently according to my friend the Xbox one was playing games much more smoothly than the PS4 though, I didn't want to line up for 2 hours to try that though so I'll take his word for it. Some of the driving simulators and VR stuff they had going on was cool though. They were playing TF2 on an Oculous Rift with a 360 treadmill kind of thing that was impressive.

So yeah, what did you think so far?

Well I'm going tomorrow, it will be my first event. I'm hoping it should be fun and maybe I could motorboat a few cosplay girls :pedo:. I won't be going alone though. Anybody else going tomorrow?

Yeah, was my first even too. There weren't many good looking cosplay girls though. Some cool zombie staff walking around that come out of nowhere and make you jump. Expect to be queuing a lot though I was in line to play Elder Scrolls Online for about a hour and the PS4 line was even longer... I had to dive out and go get a cup of coffee from a cafe then ended up finding a cafe from the K-ON Movie 5 minutes away which was pretty cool... if you like anime.

Oculous Rift is meant to have a 1080P version, right now it 640×800 per eye.
Also that sucks to hear thinking about going next year, would go but could not book the time off.

Yeah I expected more tbh. Today there was some girls but either too young or too old. I couldn't even get in 18 because I look 12 :fa: Next year I'll have fake ID on me which should be ace aha. I went to two dev sessions and the nfs one almost had me sleeping. It was soo boring. All I really wanted to do was go play watch dogs. Next year I'll have a fake ID, and I'll buy a early bird ticket in addition to having some extra cash with me.

Oh and I saw a few xboxes actually failing to play games. I even saw the dev screen because they had to reboot some consoles haha. PS4 was pretty smooth for me though.

Shame you couldn't get into the 18+ section, but really there wasn't much up there. I should have taken some pics in hindsight but I wasn't bothered at the time. Yeah I expected the PS4 to be better I'm just going by what my friend said who played both, still only one I'd but would be a PS4 there's much more about the Xbone I don't like.

You get any free shit while you were there? I think Razer were giving out free scarfs for just participating and another friend of mine won a bag in some event. Was pretty cool, I got nothing though, not even a poster.

I got two posters, 3 wrist bands and a badge lol. They were giving out shirts but there was always some tall afro dude who just grabbed them all. I heard they we're giving out free doctor masks in surgeon simulator. There was a sony thing were you got 1 month ps+ but I wasn't bothered to sign up.

When ever i hear about gaming event all i think of is these so called youtube famous people having a huge circle jerk over CoD with fans

The only person I saw was syndicate which I really didn't care for lol. My friend saw a couple of twitter "gaming" girls. That was just about it
