(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi all, I recently decided to completely redesign my website. Before, my website was simple and sleek, as it is now as well. I thought it was time for an update since I hadn't changed it in a while. I like the look and feel of Windows 8 OS (don't actually like the OS, just the User Interface of it) so I decided to copy it. The complete design took me a total of 15 hours of work (applying the new theme to each separate page, adjusting css for each separate page, and a quite a bit of back-end moving/transfering/cleaning files.) What do you guys think?

I think it looks good, but its basic if you know what i mean.

Like you should do a different background and like center them more or something tears

But it's good :y:

I tried for basic :p I don't want anything fancy, just something simple and sleek. To center everything on the page vertically and horizontally, I would have to completely redesign the theme :p I wanted to do that, but I didn't want to take the time to modify the theme again. Auto margins don't work well with set margins, haha.
Thanks for the input!

It's alright, would look a hell of a lot better centered though!

I like it, it's pretty neat looking.
1 question though, why is there no backlight to make it look nicer?

Lol I'm used to talking about gfx. Like the site seems dark-ish a little. I figured you were going with a Win 8 look so it looks a little on the dark side

Ah I see :p
I could create a code to randomize a Windows 8 Background for each refresh :p

It looks good :y:, but if you aren't going to add more option make the squares into designs, like make them form a circle or something so you don't have so much empty space, well IMO that would look better.

I think instead of the squares, you should do a pin wheel or a pie and just cut the sections Happy
