Yes they can. They make it sound like the war in Iraq is a complete waste of time and money. I have talked to Marines there and they set up schools, good water, better government, road systems and kicked the Taliban out. Thats a good thing.

Global Warming is sure happening, we are theoretically contributing by burning fossil fuels but it is proven that most of the greenhouse gases come from natural sources e.g. the ocean and volcanos.........this is just one factor that is contributing to the extinction of mankind

It's not blown out of proportion IMO. Global warming affects the Earth, you know, the place where we live in, and if we are speeding things up then there wont be an Earth much longer. Even if the media 'blow things out of proportion' on this I think they need to for the fact that they need to scare people to stop doing what they are doing and save the Earth for the future. Whether we are alive or not, your kids/grandkids/great grandkids and so on will be, and they will be the ones having to clean up our mess. I tend to believe scientist 'cos they have extensive research (for the time) to back up their theories.
The Governments don't give a flying **** about global warming, and do you know why? because they will loose way too much money if they were to switch from fossil fuels to renewable. That's all they care about, money. The government are all ignorant to care and change.
