(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello, I've been browsing some things.. and well to say the least I've become desensitized. That may have a bias towards the subject but I am just wondering what you all are thinking.

My question: Is death relevant?

by that I don't mean to you, because obviously to you and your family it'll mean a lot because of social bonds and psychological bullshit humans create and imagine... I mean is it relevant to the continuation of the human race.

Humans are naturally born as assholes essentially, we're born with instincts to survive and continue our race. So, greed, killing, sex, etc. comes with that. The way I see it (but hate to see as I'm a 'peace' guy) is that if we die or another dies it doesn't matter. The human race will go on regardless if you're alive or dead and essentially no one will give a fuck. It's a sad truth.. but sure I mean we have potential to make living easier, and that's potential that's sad to see go.. but imho it won't matter. Humans will go back to being greedy, fuck bitchez, and continue on with life.

what's your opinion?

ALSO: I'm atheist (I guess?) and I don't hate others religions, and I mean death is very noble. once you die your atoms get compounded into energy that eventually other lifeforms can use. I just don't know how everyone else feels?

Well, in small words, yes, death is relevant to the continuation of the human race.
Look back to tragic times in human history such as when the black plague wiped out 75 million people. If there weren't ever to be another disease or disaster that wiped out a huge percentage of the entire world like the black plague did, then no, death isn't relevant in my opinion. You as a single person could live or die and the human race would continue on...whether or not the human race would benefit from your life or not, well, that's up to you.

I've never been scared of the concept of death I've always embraced and even though most of you will call me a *** and I understand how you feel but I believe "yolo" is somewhat true because I don't know for sure whether or not I am gonna reincarnate or continue on after death so I might aswell do as much shit as I can.

Do a barrel roll!
Nope we wont continue through the time. We may evolve (like from the homo sapiens to the homo sapiens sapiens) but us, as we are in this moment (again, homo sapiens sapiens) wont exist in the future, every specie its condemned to an end (luckly). That is what biology says.

I mean, im not talking of this planet being attracted to the sun and then burnt, or being hit by some asteroid or something like that. Its just that any living entity has a period of time, and then it dies, stop existing as it was known (yet again, it may evolve).

So, in sum, there is no humanity in the future, and thats good. Now, what relaies beyond death? nothing I guess, you just die. I mean, what is it suposed to be? heaven and hell? "to see to belive" prove the existence of those and then youre ready to go, until then, you simply die.
