The end of vbux was on the cards for some time it's worth was controlled by demand which was dying.
We know how popular the system was so may get a replacement.

We need something else at least, although sure I could agree it was dying it was something people could trade with other than paypal for say small services, like for example a 48 hour Xbox Live Code or a 14 Day PSN+ Code or a Beta Code or something similar where unless they happen to have something else it will be paypal but nobody wants to pay $0.50 paypal for a 48 hr code its just dumb so people would trade say 100k vbux. Although it was dying it was still used for small purchases.
