when it was at it's prime essentially.

Some of my friend's said the 6th Generation of gaming ( PS2 / Xbox / GameCube ) Era of gaming.

I agree'd partially but not 100 % I thought it was good yes but not that good.

For me my personal favorite gaming generation is the one that just passed us by the 7th generation of gaming,
( Xbox 360 / PS3 / Wii ).

Now in my opinion it was the most innovative through it's many functionality's it allowed us to have,
( Online gaming / Media Streaming / Music & Gaming / Party Chat / Downloadable Content ).

I actually made a video on this topic to for any of you who would want to hear my thoughts.

Or do you think the next generation of gaming, our current generation now will be the best.

So in your thought's, your opinion's which gaming generation was your favorite and why ?.

The Gen of PC is the best because it really never ended. But for consoles early 2000s. Fun yet cheap games that where actually. different. Now almost all racing games are all simulator like and almost all shooters are cod like.

hmm, that's a tuff decision, I would probably have to go with 7th gen because It's the gen that had the most effect on my life in gaming.

Definitely mine as well since I was just about 12 so I could really enjoy it fully from the start and such amazing
titles hit us from the start to finish on both consoles as it end I look forward to the next generation as a mature
gamer now probably be my last generation as i'll be around 28 when the next one comes around thanks for sharing .

5th gen for me (PS1/N64)
putting graphics aside, these consoles brought so much to gaming.

goldeneye
banjo kazooie

I really enjoyed the 6th generation, simply because I was stuck on my PS2 almost every hour of the day if I wasn't at school. Grew up with Spyro and the Jak and Daxter series, that stuff will always have a place in my heart. If I had to pick a runner up it'd be the 7th generation because I've grown to really like my Xbox 360 and have some good memories on that too with friends. We'd have up to five of us in a party, all really close friends, just playing our favourite games and hanging out for hours on end. It's died down quite a bit in the last few months, but it's still enjoyable.

I believe a lot of people on this website are going to say PS2/XB/PS3/360 just because they were old enough to remember when they started playing video games.

As much as I liked the 6th generation (when I first started as a kid), I've spent a lot more time on a PS3 than a PS2 and I can actually remember all of the time I've spent on a PS3.

However, for our older members, there's definitely some comparable generations for them because they can actually remember all they've been through, lol.

L0l @ all these 12 year olds posting here saying PS3 / 360 ftw when they weren't even around for 4/6 of these "generations". PS1 was the best gaming console as far as enjoyability went.

Although I did a lot with my XBox, the games on ps3/360 were far superior, fact.

It's all about how much time you had to play really. I'm sure the games will just keep getting better.
