(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Thought this might be interesting for some people to see. The below picture shows global and N.America sales for the PS4 and XBox One as of 30th November.

Quite interesting to see the weekly sales in the US favour the Xbox, while the PS4 is outselling by a large amount worldwide.

Xbox one is less than HALF of PS4 sales? WOW
But still more sales in North America.. Weird.
N. Americans really like their Xbox I guess?

This is just sales in a week ending November 30th.

I think total sales puts PS4 at 2.1M, and XBox at 1.6M, but yeah N.America are quite loyal to MS it seems (as the Japs are to Sony though)

Where I live (Vancouver island in Canada) almost everyone has a 360, if they have a console. Ps3 is second, from what I've seen. Concerning next gen consoles, I know more people going for Xbone rather than Ps4. I don't have any preference, will probably just go with whatever the majority of my friends gets.

Thanks for the chart, really interesting.

Didn't expect 3DS to have that much sales... That's good though. That just means Nintendo is doing there thing. Smile

Xbox One destroyed PS4 in sales in North America... Quite surprising.

However, they made up for it in Europe. Xbox One was absolutely annihilated.

XBOX having such low sales outside of the US may result in them cutting back in international support.

That's probably because Americans only feel comfortable if something they purchased shits all over their human rights.

To be honest it's probably just a lot of children buying it, anyone sane bought a PS4. You'd have to have been living under a rock to have not seen the whole debacle that was Xbone launch build up and that everything they did was a fuck up. Hopefully Microshit sell the Xbox division to a third party because all they do is lose money from it and that doesn't make the M$ shareholders very happy. PS4 is pretty underwhelming too, but it's only because it's the lesser of two evils that people are buying it. I'm not buying either until they have a decent set of titles avalible for them and the price of the console has dropped. Plus buying a console at launch is retarded anyway.

They'll both do well, Americans buying the XBox is probably due to it being an American company, and their carrying on from their 360 profiles.

Don't make MS out to be some evil spies, and Sony the underdog saints; they're both mega corporations with equal intent and capabilities.

Remember, no competition would ruin either platform, so be thankful they're both doing so well!

How would no competition ruin the platforms? Nintendo has barely any competition and their consoles and handhelds do just fine.
