(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, I have a old ps3 that is on 3.5 or maybe even less, but it has the yellow light of death. Is there any way I can fix that?

Plenty of tutorials on YouTube on how to but it would involve you buying certain things and you most likely will have to open up your PS3 but saying that there is methods without opening the PS3 such as using a hairdryer which may temporary or maybe fully fix your console.

Or you can get it sent away for repairs =D

How much do they charge to fix it, because I was thinking of doing it physically with the thermal paste

Sorry about late reply weathers screwing up my internet, i see them around £20 - £40 but if i was you i would try the hairdryer and or oven method first.

I will try that I guess, or else I will just get it fixed I guess.. I am not going to let a $500 PS3 go to waste to be honest

IMO modding is/has died down a little.. Modding for me was at its hight when the PS3 Jailbrake came out.
