Instead of using Google Adsense, you could try contacting websites and companies directly asking if they would want to advertise on your site. Be sure to mention all your stats and tell them how beneficial it would be for them to advertise on your site. Then you could make your own adverts for that company on your website and maybe put a page with info about them on it and so on.

As TechKid said, contacting another website that is well grown will expand your growth beyond your imagine. Say if NGU advertised your site. You'd be getting members visiting left and right, but you would have to have a valid reason of why they should advertise you and what the benefits are to THEM.

There are many different ways of making money using a website: selling advertisements on your site, selling a product, or charging a subscription fee. However, with the fee the subscribes must get a product or content worth what their paying for. Furthermore as you are just starting out you will not make much, and these prices for advertising will vary as they are more or less based on how much traffic you get to your site.

TIP: A good tip for advertising is to advertise where you can, but don't go overkill and have ads everywhere also as you know nearly everyone who uses the internet uses Adblock try to block that out as you will not make much.

Implement a membership feature on your website. If the benefits are quite good then you will get a lot of money.

Unless you have a product, or selling space for people to buy off a group of sites that not going to happen.
