Afghanistan was a save haven for Al Quida, who had relations with the Taliban. So we go in and **** 'em up for attacking us.
Yeah, Al Quida are what you could call the 'bosses' of the Taliban. They are the ones that do most of the beheading, they are the ones that Listen to Bin Laden, whom which the Taliban respect. Al Quida are a spawn from Bin Laden, his own "army". The Taliban will listen to them because they get the orders from Bin Laden.

Afghanistan has always been in a war since 1970s, civil or not.
Yeah, such as the Russian's that invaded in the 80's/90's.
That's the reason they are so strong, because they have been fighting for such a long time. Also, the training that allied forces gave them too.

yes i know but aside from the wars people still had fun. people still had picnics. and please dont curse at the guy that did, and afghanistan itself is trying to get rid of Taliban. But all i want to say is America could end all the non-sense and just defeat the taliban so easily. i mean like, i saw this one video on youtube that was taken by US satellites that some kind of european terrorists were loading missals into trucks. Im wondering if they can capture that, how hard is it to find Osama or any1 there looking for.
Yeah, people did have fun, take a look at this picture of before the wars and now.

People used to visit for holidays, attended universities and so one.
Looked like a nice place.
As for "how hard is it to find Osama or any1 there looking for", the answer is hard. They use caves after caves, tunnels after tunnels. The chances of spotting the person they are looking for in the caves are zero, unless they have powerful thermal imaging satellites that can penetrate through mountains. The chance that Bin Laden is in Afghanistan are very, very slim and is most likely hiding in the mountainous region on the Pakistan Border.
Or just drop a big shiny metal thing called a nuke and blow the 5#!T out of it
Yeah, That would work, and also put about 50+ years of pollution in the world in one second.
I think they need to try and stop terrorism as much as possible. Yeah, pulling out will save many many lives, but then the people that have already lost theirs would have died for no reason. How would you feel if you died in the war that can be won, but you didn't win because the troops got pulled out before hand. Knowing you and many of your friends and comrades died for no reason.
Yeah, the war is about money as well, and if not more about money than stamping out terrorism. That's why I hate the Government. The fact that they can let people sacrifice their lives for money. They want war, but don't want to pay for it. Tony Blair went to war, Gordon Brown wants to stay in the war. The choice for him is simple, either bring out troops back to save lives and let the people that have died down, or send the army what they need to save more lives but yet continue to stop terrorism. If he wants war he needs to be serious about it. **** money, he gets enough from taxes, why not put it to something useful?
