(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Any of you in AP Calculus BC or year two college calculus? It's just one problem i need to clarify on please help!
(sorry i couldn't find a more suitable section, or maybe i'm just blind.)
Here's the problem:
Integral of: (2lnx)/(x^2)
Iv'e tried it and gotten close to the actual answer(it's multiple choice so i know)

Any help much appreciated, departmental exam tomorrow!

Google'd your problem, came up with this.

It is giving you multiple answers so I don't know how exact it is but hope it helps.

Okay this is probably wrong but I have this math program that does all the work for me so it got this, if I'm even putting it in right...

Probably have to use integration by parts. I didn't try it, but it looks like it.

I'm just doing this off the top of my head, but:

u = ln(x), x = e^u
du = 1/x dx

After plugging in everything, you get

Integral of 2u/e^u du

= 2 times the integral of (ue^-u)du

If I remember correctly, to find the integral of xe^x dx, you need to use integration by parts.

Thanks but that's not even the right problem. I said the integral of, that program(i've used it) only does work up to algebra 2 trig, not calculus. But thanks

I know you have to use integration by parts and if you are using integration by parts you should use the formula. But thanks for your help, i took my test and the integration by parts questions were much easier than this one lol.
