Post: why put X's and dashes in your PSN ID/gamertag?

The real answear to this question is: Peeople used tons of x's and dashes because they want a name but it has already been taken so they have to manipulate that name by adding thso stupid symbols, no offence but if you are one of thos people, it means that you are to simple and primitive to think of an original name that no one has ever thought of. PS. I have an underscore on my name because it is two words and the underscore seperates them so they are easier to read.

It took me ages to think of 'infectedsoul' when I first got xbox live. Never seen nor heard of it before (on forums etc, and still havent up to this date). Come to type it in and it was taken so instead of taking another long time to think I added the x's. This was wayyyy back before everyone else did it like you mentioned. I will in no way make my name xX IInFecTeDsOuL Xx or something along those line. Stupid when it first started, stupid now. Just lets wait and see what happens when MW2 come out. What gay name will people think of then?
