There always to be a lot of debate with this particular subject, especially between male and females since the point of view may be somewhat different...but, it would be interesting to see what your opinions are on this...It seems as if whenever a female commits a sexual crime they usually are judged in a different light compared to a male offender....This is most noticeable in the media, since much of the attention is usually focused on how "hot" & "attractive" she may be verses how a male offender is portrayed as a "predator"....I came across an article which highlighted many of these cases where a female teacher has sex with their students and in most of the sentencing they received have been much more lenient in comparison to a male offender who commits the same exact crime....I'm not sure if it's just that society perceive it as "different" when a woman does it...but, in my opinion their does seem to a double standard when it comes to this.

Does anyone else have an opinion on this?...And do you agree that our current legal system/society have its sort of a double standard between women & male offenders?

I think people should let it be. Unless it is rape, sex between teacher and student is no different than an adult and an underage teen. In Afghanistan, girls get sold into marriage at age 12 and have kids at 13, so obviously its a moral issue here than anything else. To sum it up...

Well of course it is looked at different. I don't think a girl can really rape a guy. Well she can persuade him of course. But a guy has to want to do it (if you know what i mean). As for a guy could rape a girl that is totally unwilling. If a female teacher does convince a 14 year old boy to have sex with her. You can't tell me he doesn't want to. He just may not realize how wrong it as that age or any younger age of course. But she knows how wrong it is which is the only reason why she would get in trouble at all. But you can't tell me the teen/ kid doesn't want to. Guys are guys and it seems as in 2009 compared to like 1980's they are more interested in sex and know more at a younger and younger age. Thats what i think about it o_O

All of my teachers are old ladies. 
. But think about it, you don;t see this very often at young ages, more in high school middle school. A grown man could easily beat (and is stronger than) a female student of his. A boy in high school/middle school could most likely beat the shit out of his female teacher if he wanted, so If they do, then its obviously on purpose. As I said all my teachers are old ladies so idc.

when i was 14, i'd definitely go for it if a hot female teacher wanted to jump my bones.
A girl can rape a guy just as easily as a guy can rape a girl. Who's to say young females didn't persuade the male teacher to sleep with them?
