Founded in 2009, Maker Studios distributes video game-related programming mainly but has a range of programming based under a couple different names.

Company numbers tell you why 380 million subscribers worldwide across more than 55,000 channels, 5.5 billion views a month.
Warner Bros, invested into the network Machinima.
Why did Disney do this simple it worried competition in the online video sector or wants to target a group which has escaped her.
What the company does bring to the table is a successful YT model and model for making content.
