(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So if you have Verizon and love to download torrents from torrent sites please be aware that Verizon is playing cop by emailing you at first warning that piracy has been commited and what movie, program etc. was pirated! The worst part is that in the email Verizon states it would do two of the following if this does not cease:
:badass:

  • Slow down internet speeds on purpose!
  • Contact the F.B.I if problems still occur more than 2 times after this email is sent!

This is just insane, the only real reason in my mind is that Verizon just does not like us getting free movie releases, they would rather us spend $5-10 on a 48 hr rental in their VOD section.Kidding me

So do all ISP's do this now, I ask because I used to have Comcast/Xfinity and they did not give a shit, anyone else come across this dilemma?

Yea and you know what sucks the most: I downloaded about 5 movies before that and never got the email. The email was sent regarding the movie The Internship but none of the other movies which raises the question. Are all movies tracked or is it just select ones idk I got nothing on this?

ISP's don't track you. As it currently is it's illegal for them to do so. However what happens is organizations like the RIAA have people who go through torrents for work they own copyrights to and contact the ISP with the IP address. Basically it falls on the ISP. Either they get sued or they do something about it. Generally they just hand out warning like what you just got.
