But this time, I think it actually make sense and could possibly work. So anyway, I was thinking about making a website/forum. Not just a random, look-a-like leeching forum, a useful and helpful library. I am no librarian, but i think having a good, clean forum setup for Modding tools, games, and anything worth sharing is just uh-maz-ing.... So with that being said, I would like to open a forum up for developers, and some upcoming developers to post their tools. I want it to be more of a clean library with the latest and greatest tools. I don't want it to be a community like NGU, TTG, or any other scene site. I will post a screenshot of what I want it to look like. With all this being said, I am NOT trying to make a NGU look-a-like. Just trying to see the opinion of the community.

Don't want to hate, but this sounds alot like NGU. Plus, there is too much competition in this area if you are looking for a low budget entry. SEO optimization alone will set you back a couple $100's at this point.

I'm pretty sure this isn't allowed as it could take activity from NGU.

Why would it take a lot of money? Besides, I got free hosting and Domain. Besides, I friends that know and secure php and html.. Maybe SEO would cost, but still, why would I need that? Im not promoting for a business.

Do you want to get traffic? Thats what SEO is for. 5 years ago, you might have had a chance. But now, the web is just too saturated. Just my opinion. Good luck.

I wouldn't suggest a forum, but something like a blog with a download attached. You could possibly do it with WordPress, or if you wanted you could contact me and I make a custom one for free because I need as much practice as I can get. :p
