(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so I am learning to drive using this driver's manual guide (knowing the rules of road), but I don't know how to drive yet lol. I remember one time I was helping my uncle back his car up but all the sudden I almost crashed into a building next to us and he got really angry. Another time, I have a hard time using the steering wheel that I could of imagine myself not being able to turn the car. I'm just wondering how hard is it just to drive, since I want to practice early my age so I won't have to wait 6 months when I get older :/

I recently went to Ireland and I'm 16 and am getting a 2 weeks intensive driving course on my 17th birthday (June) and my Nan (who I stayed with) let me drive the car... When I say drive, I mean, she taught me how to drive.

I got up to 3rd gear and went to proceed onto 4th but there was a pothole and I didn't want to swerve because I knew if loose control and so I braked without really knowing how to and because I had to press clutch to change gears, I did the same for the brake. We stopped way too quickly causing us to jolt forward in our seats.

But, practise makes perfect. That was my first time in the drivers seat of a manual car. It helped with my anxiousness about learning to drive, because it's not as difficult as people somehow make it out to be. I mean yeah I'm not great but I understand the concept of it.

To me, with a few more lessons from my Nan (or parents) I should be okay on the whole driving aspect. After that I need to learn the rules of the road and shit. :(

It's not hard. If you ever drove a go cart. It's like driving a op go cart that weighs a lot and could kill you instantly if you are not careful

Like everyone said here, driving it's not a big issue. At the beginning is obviously hard but little by little you will reach the complete control. The difficulty depends also in which car you drive: a car with manual transmission or automatic one. Here in Italy most part of cars are with manual change gear and when I remember I got a lot of lessons to understand very well how it works so don't give up dude, this is the most important thing Winky Winky

It is not really hard to drive a car. Just take some practices. Try ask your dad for "private driving practice" to see how you feeling about it.

Easy if you are careful and pay attention to detail. Don't use your phone, don't mess around with your radio, don't try to multitask. Drive defensively always. Pay attention to all other drivers. Assume they are trying to crash into you.

Biggest tip: know where you are on the road. Pay attention to road names, house numbers, direction of travel, and nearby crossroads. If you come upon an accident (or are involved in one) and need to call for help, you HAVE to know where you are. Telling a 911 operator that you are on "that one road that runs by the river" is useless. If you can tell them that you are on Main Street northbound of Second Street, your help will get there much quicker, which could save your life or the life of someone else.

Oh, and don't under any circumstances drink and drive. Ever.
