It was definitely terrorists.... The terrorists were muslim and they believe that the USA had committed a crime / offense or insulted their God Allah and in defense of Allah they believe that they are able to kill under the rules of Lower Jihad which the terrorists have taken out of context and is basically used as an excuse.

ok the people that think 9/11 was cause by the goverment also think that area 51 has aliens and Wingdings font has a secret message of approval to kill Jews

Because almost everyone on this forum plays MW2, I will put this in MW2 terms. Imagine if the level 'No Russian' was real, but planned by the Russian government to have an excuse to attack the US. Pretty much the same as saying Bush planned 9/11

Really the only politician in history crazy enough to do that was Hitler. He dressed his men up as French soldiers and murdered everyone in a German village so he had an excuse to attack France. Are we really comparing George Bush to Hitler?

It's funny how you lot just write off the US Government from having any involvement at all. I think it's six of one, half a dozen of the other. Let's remember that the USA supplied alot of the Middle East with weapons, in a hope it would get them a stronghold over there. It did in some countries, but others saw the real reason America wanted to be in the Middle East, and revolted against it with extreme terrorism. As a result the twin towers have been bombed, along with the pentagon. The USA is supposed to have things in place to prevent this, so howcome it was able to happen?

Questions have to be asked, as the info provided at the moment isn't clear enough to make a choice one way or another. People forget, we know nothing of what happens on that kind of level, and can only specualte. How can you say there's no alien craft kept at Area 51? How can the Pentagon have been hit by a plane that only left a hole 4mtrs by 4mtrs? How can you say the US Government had nothing to do with 9/11?

These are questions we will never get an answer to, but i do not put it past any power hungry government to murder their own people for what they class as "The countries gain!"

9/11 tragic.... was it Osama Bin Laden who was apperently involved in all this as I don't know, was it also Osama Bin Laden who was the leading man with the Lockerbay(sp) Bombings on the border of Scotland/England?
