The community has changed to the point, if you don't mod, you aren't known. Which in my opinion it gets old. I have nothing against NGU, but ever since I made my new account, I have been trying to donate and help out as much as I can. (As in "New Account" I mean, I had an account in 09 or 10, and I lost the password. I made a new account in 2013, and lost it when NGU was hacked. So here I am) Anyways what I am saying is, NGU is turning from a Gaming Community, to a PS3 Modding Scene that is more know than the other 90 ps3 modding scene sites with all the same content. Even the Elite section is boring. There is few things posted every once in a while. I don't know, I might stick around here and there, and I might not. I'm sure some of you are reading this and going "Who tf cares? I have h4x and thats all I need **PRESSES GROAN!**".

Any site with a massive user base and active userbase (some may disagree with me) is like that.

Community has always been like that, aware of the need to move NGU to general gaming.

Currently looking at improving it with more tools for other titles.
Even with posts like this I do care what people write and why.

Just like when I was a Content Manger and I saw things like this, being retired doesnt change my words.

While I agree with you that theres no sense of fellowship for wanting to play games, even on PlayStation consoles, leaving for this reason isnt the right thing to do.

Its people like you that gives those seeking fellowship to just find friends and play games hope while being on NGU. Leaving would only be hurting your own cause.

In fact you should do the opposite. Continue to be active and try to unite people to play togther.

I 100% agree with you. MODDING ON THE PS3 IS NOT THE END ALL BE ALL OF EXISTENCE HERE ON NGU OR ANYWHERE.

However that said little kids will be little kids.

I know right off hand there are a few people who are always down to game on the PS, MS, & even PC. People like myself, Ace, xLew-, div, etc. Theres always people around.

Grant it the shoutbox 95% of the time is mod this mod that, fuck PS4 this (due to no modding) and fuck PS4 that, there is that 5% that is there looking for people to play with.
No one likes playing alone, and most games today make so that if your alone your truly fucked.

I am not going to beg you to keep donating to NGU. Hell I aint even going to beg you to stay. You want to leave then by all means do so. I do ask you reconsider it. Even if you decide to stay you dont have to continue to donate. Again I'll ask that you reconsider it.

Don't let the majority bring you down on here. EVENTUALLY games (COD) will STOP being made for the PS3. Then all these kids will move on and stop this modding bs.

Consider all of this while you weigh leaving. In the end youll miss NGU and come back. Why not keep continue to make a name for yourself here. I know you've helped me out a bit here recently with PC stuff when I was needing it. For that I say thank you.

Whatever your decision be confident when you make it. Its your decision not others.
