A friend sent me this video so that we can discuss it in class and it's quite interesting. I know that I'm muslim and everything, but keep in mind that I'm a modern person who's also open-minded to other thoughts and ideas. Do you think that the words are true and accurate or it's just an assumption of how the human is created?

PLEASE no racism or any type of discrimination. Let's begin a discussion or controversy like adults. I have a few names in mind who will reply to this Smile

Although I do agree with you on a God not existing I can not agree with you saying evolution being the way we were created. I believe in evolution my self but as it is still only a theory you can not state it as a proven fact that is accepted by everyone.

As for this video it is very interesting as to how they put such things together and can see the link between but it also feels like one of those conspiracy things where they go back and forth between things to make it seem real.

But what I don't understand, if this description of how a human is formed was the word of god to a man. How come 'god' has to use such lose terms, he would have created everything you think he could explain it better. Also here is something to question doesn't your religion call for violence against non-believers, do you believe in this, or do you pick and choose? Also there is so many scientifically wrong things in the Quran. If it was the word of 'god' why would this happen. After all as a muslim you believe the Quran comes from an all-knowing 'god'..Why so many errors..

"Theory is a group of ideas meant to explain a certain topic, such as a single or collection of fact, event, or phenomen. Typically, a theory is developed through the use of contemplative and rational forms of abstract and generalized thinking."

Thats the definition, not quite sure how you think I don't know what it means as it states group of IDEAS meant to explain a certain topic...

Wow..Theory in science is not the same at all..Different meaning. By that definition you think evolution is just a hunch or a guess haha

Could you provide me with a different definition? And I don't think it is a hunch or guess I believe it to be true but as of now we can not be 100% certain that it is the truth thus making it a theory

Some dude wrote that embryos look like a leech.

They could of made the comparison as a leech gets its nutrients & food from its host much like a embryo

The fact that they look very similar & people claim that they knew this 1400 years ago..... just chance, not gods words.

They just made a direct comparison between a embryo & a leech, that fact they look the same was purely buy chance they got lucky i guess

Now today people say its the word of god because they knew this 1400 years ago.

Gods words i think not.

No offense intended, just what i think.

I actually found a video with Richard Dawkins that explains it better than I could...

Are you high?
I don't believe these were the 'words of god' at all, if you want to know why, read this webpage. You must login or register to view this content.
Also what about all the scientific errors in the Qaran? There's a lot.
