No, it won’t be available on Spotify, or any other streaming service. Not on the album release date, and maybe never.Which is exactly how Apple is structuring this deal, according to executives sharing preliminary details with Digital Music News. “[iTunes] and Beyoncé are very happy with the results of that exclusive,” one source close to Apple shared at SXSW, referring to the ground-breaking launch several months ago. “So you’re going to see something similar coming up, [unnamed artist] really likes the idea.”“I’m not sure it will top Beyoncé, but it will be ‘Beyoncé-esque’ let’s just say.”Sources insisted that we not publish any names, though this is a major artist that you’ve definitely heard of. In fact, there are multiple, big-name artists that could eventually finalize ‘Beyoncé-esque’ deals, depending on how things pan out. “Spotify won’t get this, [nor will] any streaming service for that matter. You will have to buy this from iTunes.”Asked if this will be a video-intensive release with a surprise release date, one of the sources only pointed to a healthy mix of video and audio. But there probably won’t be videos for each and every song. In terms of release strategy, the artist under discussion is deciding the best way to release, with a well-orchestrated, pre-release notification to fans more likely than a flat-out surprise. But one thing is certain, according to our sources: this artist will be working direct-to-fan channels like Twitter, email, Facebook, SMS and several other channels ‘very aggressively,’ with ‘special giveaways and bonuses’ for the most dedicated and interested fans. “There may be something to reward the best fans,” one of the sources with knowledge of the deal relayed, while pointing to a possible live concert tie-in. Beyond that hint, there were no further details on that aspect.“[The artist] really likes what Beyoncé did, the independence of it. Streaming might come later, but that isn’t decided yet.”There’s also the money aspect, an area where Spotify falls flat. “There’s the whole ‘if you don’t make it available on Spotify you’re cheating your fans’ thing,” one source continued. “But [this artist] doesn’t really buy into that thought.“[The artist] feels there are compensation problems [on streaming platforms].”And what happens to the rest of the audience, ie, those that only stream and rarely (if ever) download? “They don’t expect any backlash off of this. The fans that matter will buy it.”

Lets go ahead and predict what artist you think is releasing a surprise album next week? I have quite a few artists that I believe could be it.

The first artist many think are releasing the surprise album is Lil Wayne since he announced a date and than cancelled it.

Another big one is Dr. Dre creeping in on iTunes by selling his beats to Apple supposedly could see that one, but not on the highest level of who I think will do this since hes been out of the game so long.

Now just this week and past week Kanye West has brought some snippets of songs like God Level being the official Adidas Commercial for the World Cup. Than this morning we got a snippet of a song called Black Bruce Wayne he is said to be releasing an album in June though so could be just a way to hype up his new album.

Now Adele she is a pretty big one since she has been gone so long in the music industry quiet, she blew the Summer up 2 years ago and has been quiet since so she is more than likely the surprise artist she would sell pretty well doing this out of all the other artists I think its a pop artists not a rapper I mean there is still the possibility there it could be a rapper no other genre of music could pull this off other than Hip Hop/Pop/Rap those are the genres that are blowing up now in our generation.

Please if you going to predict don't be stupid and say well I hate this genre of music I get that ok hence why I took my Album Leaks off this site got a good idea of what type of music you guys like, but none of that can do a surprise release like this if they tried that they would flop instantly no back up on a promotional single can help sell this so it will stay low key, but this way of releasing things is better keeps album leaks from happening hence why Beyonce sold so well people were interested in it since it wasn't leaked or anything like that till later, but let me see what you guys think.

Uhh why comment saying that ok I get it is long, but if you are interested in this you would read it if not than ok I get it proably doesn't interest you. Lets go back to Beyonce's album she sold 617k first week and kept it exclusive to iTunes pandora and all that didnt stream it no one knew what it was like they just bought it, but ya the songs will get out their that is not questionable. I know how leaks work once the album is in our hands people will upload it online 10 mins after it is released, but if this is Adele that is awesome no singles have been released from her in forever so she could pull of Beyonce numbers first week.
