Any game modders that host lobbies or have any kind of services maybe throw in an advertisement or two to build the reputation of this site again.
Graphic Designers make all kinds of art for the site! I'm sure you could get respect and possibly open some opportunities doing that for the NGU family.
Also for anyone who already plays on a different console other than the PS3 or PS4 go ahead and advertise in your Xbox or PC lobbies!
There's a million different small things we could all do to promote this site and show people for how awesome it can and will be!
So just help and spread the word!! Heck, if you want to copy my thread, go for it!

No, peopke hate xbox because most of them are annoying little squeakers or kids in general, or just hate micro$ofts actions or what they are.

Back in the MW2 days, the reason it got so popular is because everyone who did mods PROMOTED ngu in everything they did.
For example in mod menus, people might have nextgenupdate scrolling across the screen as an advertisement, or even have NGU as there name or clantag. Programs people made also heavily advertised ngu.
There was multiple mod menus made on ngu, almost all of them promoted ngu in one way or another, most mod tools now do not!
Also the community was creating A LOT of tutorials and had lots of mega threads containing scripts. SHARING IS CARING. The community was also more inclined to help somebody who may be confused, and not say "Go away noob" , "nobody's going to help you"..
I don't see members being very helpful to new members now, no wonder they don't stay for long.
That sort of advertisement did help us, but also had a negative impact which caused some damage.
You can find a rather public example, if you wish to look at twitter.
I do have some ideas from this post, but it's going to require me to think about them. Unsure how to do them but I do feel that it obvious in some cases

Or a typical user could just look at the forums and see that it's not as active as it once was? You don't need back end statistical software crunching numbers to see that it's slowing down. Site registrations don't mean anything if none of those new people are actively posting.

NGU is slowly dying? My God man, it seems this place has been slowly dying since 08'......then 09'..........not sure if I was here in 10' but pretty sure people said the same thing then as well. this sites been going for five years(holy shit I just realize i'm old) and when a site has been around as long as this one has, regular member who've been around for long time tend to become inactive too all sorts of reasons. I guess what i'm trying to say, relax, the site isn't dying, just entering a new phase in life....full of drugs....and boobs probably, I don't know.
